An Unexpected Surprise |
"Mom, you said that the biggest problem in the universe is no one helps each other." - Anakin Skywalker
This past thursday Jenn and I recieved a very unexpected and pleasant surprise from....my sister? We were not expecting that. She dropped by the house when I got off work and asked for my camera. "What do you need my camera for?" I asked. "Shut up and give me your camera." (can't you just feel the love) Anyway. We sat across from each other at my dinner table and she proceeded to thank me for various things and that she wanted to do something for me. Then she lifted the camera and said..."Here's your Best Buy card."
This picture is my expression at that moment (although I wish she wouldn't have used the flash).
This is me and my new Best Buy card.
I have to say that coming from her, this was one of the best gifts I've recieved. I'm very thankful for my sister. I may not say it enough however. She's been through alot and has accomplished alot in the last year or so. I'm extremely proud of what she has done and who she has become, although I wish she wouldn't corrupt my kids so much with that 'boom boom' music of hers. When Jenn arrived they went to the back and had a girl moment. Jenn & Pam have gotten close. Pam gave her a Victoria Secrets gift card. Jenn really liked that.
Thanks Pam for the special gift.
And just so you know...I went out and got a really cool bluetooth wireless earpiece to go with my voice-activated phone with my card. Now I can call someone and never touch my phone. Yeah...I'm cool. Eat your heart out Neil Martin. |
